Support hours
Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00 (UTC+08:00).

Response target: We aim to send an initial reply within 2 business days during the support hours above. Complex cases may take longer; an initial reply is not a promise that the case will be resolved within that time. Statutory privacy-request deadlines are separate.

Include your display name, the session date if relevant, and a short description. Share only the information needed to resolve the issue.

Keep the community
a good place to play.

Use in-app reporting for harassment, unsafe content, impersonation, or booking disputes. If attendance was recorded incorrectly, include the session details in a moderation report.

How we handle reports and appeals: CourtGather is operated by Carey Fang. Reports and pending profile photos are reviewed during Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00 (UTC+08:00). Reports may be submitted in the app at any time; safety concerns receive priority when reviewed. This is not a continuously monitored emergency service. Use Profile → Contact support for a private case, replies and progress, or email us if you cannot sign in. Use the report action on the relevant content for safety concerns. We aim to acknowledge support cases and appeal emails within 2 business days. To appeal, reply in your support case or email courtgather.support@gmail.com with your profile identifier, the affected content or session, any decision received, why you believe it is mistaken, and relevant information. Carey Fang will review the original decision and new information; there is no separate independent appeal team. We aim to provide a decision or progress update within 7 business days after receiving the necessary details. These targets do not replace applicable legal deadlines. Only relevant information is inspected. Moderation actions and reasons are recorded through the app’s audited tools. If a restriction affects confirmed sessions, those commitments are assessed separately. Some deleted text and media cannot be restored.

Common questions.

How do I contact support?
In Tennis Social, open Profile → Support & privacy → Contact support. For an app issue, include your iPhone model, iOS version, app version, and what happened. Do not send passwords, verification codes, or private keys.
How do I report or block someone?
Open the person’s profile and choose Report or Block. To report a chat message, press and hold it, then choose Report message. For a private support case or appeal, use Profile → Support & privacy → Contact support; open the case again to read replies and status. Blocking stops new social contact; confirmed bookings and earned review rights remain.
What happens if I cancel a session?
At least 4 hours before the mutually confirmed start, no cancellation reason is required and no new cancellation-based review right is created. Inside 4 hours, or during the session before it ends, give a reason. Affected people can accept it or choose negative feedback. This is a reputation rule; it does not automatically charge or refund money.
Why did my group lesson get cancelled?
Group enrollment is provisional until the minimum student count is reached at one location. A group that is still below its minimum eight hours before the start is automatically cancelled, without cancellation-review penalties. Contact the coach about any directly arranged payment.
Do students need a subscription?
No. The Apple subscription is for adult coaches who publish coaching offers and receive new enrollments. Students can discover lessons and request a place without that subscription. Lesson and court fees, if any, are arranged separately.
How do I cancel or restore my coach subscription?
Open Profile → My Coaching, then the subscription row for Manage subscription or Restore purchases. You can also open iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Turning off renewal keeps the paid period available; expiration stops new coaching promotion and enrollment, but does not automatically cancel confirmed lessons. Manage Apple subscriptions.
Can children use Tennis Social?
Players under 13 use a profile managed by an adult guardian, including bookings, messages, and reviews. From age 13, players may use their own supported login with linked guardian consent; guardian-managed profiles can continue until adulthood. Only adults aged 18+ can enable coaching. Birth dates and minors’ exact ages are private.
How do I delete my account?
Open Profile → Delete account and confirm. If you use Apple sign-in, you may be asked to authorize again. This action also affects guardian-managed profiles and future commitments. Deleting an account does not cancel Apple subscription renewal. Read what happens to your data.
Why does a chat attachment say expired?
Photos and videos stop being available through chat 90 days after sending. Captions/text remain under separate retention rules. Reported evidence may be held for restricted case handling, but does not extend your chat access.
Are messages end-to-end encrypted?
No. Text, photos and videos use protected network connections, authenticated access and private storage, but the backend can process content. Staff investigations are restricted to the relevant reports and cases.
When can I leave a review or rate skills?
After a session ends and the required participants have recorded attendance. The event does not have to be full. Undecided confirmed attendance is finalized after the two-hour deadline; explicit no-shows remain. Skill ratings are for playing sessions only. Report an incorrect record from the session or Contact support.
Does clearing a chat delete it for everyone?
No. Clearing history removes the conversation history from the selected profile’s view. It does not remove the other person’s copy or reset the three introductory text-message allowance. Report a message separately if you need moderation help.
